1st places- 3 month subs and a feature in my Journal for a week and of course features in the MBC journal.
A print of the submitted winning entry.

Runners up- 1 months sub and a feature in my journal plus a feature in the MBC journal.

Winners will also be featured at :iconinsect-lovers-club:

Overall winner will receive a book by Ross Hoddinott (hopefully signed).

Mr Ross Hoddinott has kindly said that he will judge the final images.
Ross is a renowned wildlife photographer and extremely knowledgeable in macro. I am extremely honoured that he has agreed to Judge this competition.

    Submitting to the club

    :pointr: Send us a note, with the title "Gallery Submission"

    :pointr: In the note include a link to your deviation, not a thumb :)

    :pointr: Pictures taken using camera phones etc are not suitable for the club. For a guide to what is suitable see our journal here: [link] You can also view the club gallery to get a better idea :)

    :pointr: You must tell us whether your submission is for the beginners section or the advanced section, or else your submission will not be added!

    :pointr: A maximum of 1 image per week can be submitted per member. The month beginning on the 1st.

    We will note you to tell you when your submission has been added.

    Joining the club:

    To join the Macro Beginners Club you need to do the following:

    :pointr: Send us a note titled "Join" Tell us what equipment you use.

    :pointr: Add us to your watch list (we will watch all of our members too)

    :pointr: Add our icon to your journal, or put us in your signature.

    To add our icon to your journal, use :icon macro-beginners-club: without the space after icon. To add us to your signature you use :dev macro-beginners-club: again without the space.

    That's it :)
